Teesh Foster – Finke Desert Race

Luvenit Clean Pty Ltd has helped immensely with their support for racing one of Australia’s toughest desert races. Their support has impacted in the best possible way from fuel costs both bike and vechles, bike mechanic costs, food & accommodation.

It also allows their business as well as many others to be showcased on a national stage with bike graphics, team shirts, social media and rider books. Without Luvenit Clean Pty Ltd and all the other support from local businesses whether it is products or financial support, it makes these sorts of events nearly impossible with out it and that’s why it is so special to have this type of support.

Teesh Foster - Finke Desert Race
Teesh Foster, Riding in the Finke Desert Race
I first started riding on my cousins sheep farm in the Adelaide hills following dad and my football mates around on a pw50 and xr70 Honda at 5 years old. As I got older and continued progressing between bigger bikes, my passion for football and motocross clashed and it came a point I had to choose between football or motocross. It was a hard decision but I chose football as at that time I was really enjoying it and wanting to see how far it could take me.

10 years later after 2 knee and shoulder surgeries I decided it was time to quit football and live my childhood dream of racing bikes and buy a Crf250r motocross bike and enter Finke Desert race as well as race state motocross and haven’t looked back since. I now have 2 bikes which have both completed Finke to equal a total of 3 finishes and a personal finishing best of 5th place in 2023!
I hope to make 2026 the 50th running year of Finke Desert race, my 4th finish out of 4 starts as well as a top 4 finish. I will also be competing locally in state motocross and reliability trials. I look forward to what the next year has in store!
